WHO WE ARE
TriJam Podcast is a 90-120 minute long comedy/entertainment podcast that, at it’s core, aims to highlight the best and brightest budding urban talent in the Tristate Area. Consistently increasing in local popularity, the program is hosted by singers Kyle Maack, Shae Davis, and Jo Rivers and comedian Will Wright. It is produced by Daniel Kane and Kevin Ward and executive produced by Kevin White.
TriJam is presented in a “talk show” format and regularly includes interviews with local artists and entertainers, pop-culture commentary, pre-recorded comedy bits, and live in-studio performances. Recorded at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Cherry Hill, NJ, episodes are made available weekly on all major podcasting platforms. Each episode’s recording session is live-streamed on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and Twitch via a multi-camera setup with pre-produced video content.
NOW... LET'S TALK ABOUT OURSELVES!
HOST / EDITOR / PRODUCER
Kyle Maack is a singer and Air Force veteran born and raised in New Jersey who first gained recognition after being the first recording artist signed to Otis Williams of legendary Motown group, The Temptations. He has performed in over twenty countries since 2014 and continues to record music. Upon leaving the military in 2018, Kyle enrolled in broadcasting school and later worked for The Preston & Steve Show on 93.3 WMMR FM in Philadelphia. Kyle serves as host, audio engineer, co-producer and editor of TriJam Podcast as well as Program Director for TriJam Radio.
COHOST / ENTERTAINMENT NEWS
Jo Rivers is a recording artist known prominently in the Philadelphia and New Jersey R&B music scene with a music career spanning over a decade. She has performed and recorded with countless local artist making her known on TriJam as the “Queen of Features.” Jo provides a strong and different perspective as the sole female cohost of the show. She is known for her quick wit and goofy personality and leads “The Scoop” news segment on TriJam Podcast every week.
COHOST / LOCAL EVENTS REPORTER
Shae Davis is a multi-talented singer and instrumentalist in the Philadelphia/New Jersey music scene, distinguished for being the leader of the Major Culture band. When not headlining their own shows, the band can frequently be seen backing other prominent local R&B and Hip Hop acts. On TriJam Podcast, Shae provides a “ladies man” charm, a younger male perspective, and a general sense of bewilderment at what is happening in front of his face.
COHOST / COMEDIC RELIEF
Will Wright is a stand-up comedian from Newark, NJ. He has been called one of the funniest people in the Tristate area and has performed alongside headliners Joe Clair, Talent the Comedian, TuRae, TK Kirkland and more. Will is TriJam’s comedy relief who’s unpredictability provides the counterbalance to Host Kyle Maack. Will is the newest member to the main cast, joining in December 2018.
PRODUCER / ENGINEER
Daniel Kane is TriJam Podcast's main producer serving as camera operator, researcher, and engineer. Though he is not a main cast member, Dan is highly valued as a hardworking, talented show producer and is often involved in show conversation, albeit mostly off-mic. He is highly skilled at putting up with Kyle Maack's crap.
PRODUCER / VIDEOGRAPHER
"Intern" Kevin Ward is an intern in name only. He has actually become an integral part of TriJam Podcast's weekly operation. Kevin is part producer, part engineer, and part videographer. In addition to operating the live stream you see every Tuesday, he edits video content for TriJam's social media pages.
SUB HOST / COMEDIC RELIEF
Rock is a stand-up comedian from New Jersey and an active part of the TriJam Podcast family. Nicknamed the official TriJam "Side N*gga", he is the first call when a regular cohost of the show is absent. Rock is good friends with Will Wright - a fact that lends itself to hilarious banter between the two of them. Because his contributions to TriJam Podcast have been so entertaining, it was a no-brainer when it came time to determine who among the show's non-immediate family would host their own program on the upcoming TriJam Radio station.
